The 12th floor and penthouse were converted from the offices of a film editing studio to a residential space and studio. The design sought to maximize the exposure of the living spaces to the iconic Manhattan views to the north.
The renovation embraces the open loft aesthetic. The living spaces flow seamlessly together, with the open kitchen acting as a hinge between the private and public areas. The zen like quality imbues a calm and meditative atmosphere. The terrace garden works around the overhead tanks to create a retreat from the city below.
