This exclusive community of holiday homes in Varca, Goa seeks to provide modern amenities while retaining the essential elements of Goan design. The property is set in a serene landscape amid lush paddy fields to the west and coconut groves to the east and west.

The goal of the project is to create an appropriate sense of place and capture the essence of the relaxed Goan lifestyle which is lived in close proximity to natural surroundings. The verdant landscape permeates into the houses which have large windows and verandahs. The houses, are placed around a courtyard have deep verandahs and balconies, which become intermediate spaces between the interior and exterior. Other vernacular elements that have been included in the design vocabulary include the steep tiled roofs, plaster cornices at the roof line, arched openings, tile borders and surrounds. The landscaping consists of indigenous plantings, many of which were preserved on the site.
