Grand Central Terminal

Program:
Sen Architects provided Architectural services as a sub consultant to Beyer Blinder Belle in this project. The section that our firm was responsible for were the Historically sensitive restoration and rehabilitation of the facades along 42n Street.

Design solution:
After careful analysis of the existing documents, and conducting of probes to determine the condition of the existing structural elements, Sen Architects prepared documents to restore the fabric of this land marked edifice. The firm also coordinated with the retail development consultants, and the State Historic Preservation Office in the development of the details. Close follow up was required during construction, when the final selection of materials, approval of shop drawings and construction administration were done by our staff.

Award Wining Project:
The New York Landmarks Conservancy presented Sen Architects with the Lucy Moses Preservation Award for there contribution to the Grand Central Revitalization project.
